1. What causes you to mourn and weep for God’s people the way Nehemiah did over the destruction of Jerusalem? How does Nehemiah’s prayer encourage you to pray and seek God’s favor over this issue?
2. God showed great patience and compassion for His people, giving them opportunities to repent and turn back to Him. When have you experienced God’s patience or compassion?
