Driver’s Vs. Marriage License Earning a driver’s license is a rigorous process of driving classes and written tests. And don’t forget the hours driving on side roads. Understanding how to navigate a car safely helps protect the well-being of everyone on the road. But you can get one important license with no qualifications at all: a marriage license. A couple can usually get married with nothing more than a signature. No classes, no preparation, no training. Just two people who hope their feelings will last.
