In Spite Of All This Why is it so easy to forget what God has done for us? Asaph’s psalm recounts the many dramatic ways God had worked on Israel’s behalf for centuries! Remarkable, shocking, awesome, miraculous interventions! Each one different; no two alike! But far too soon their love faded, their passion for God ended, they wandered away ... and ended in abject terror. Prayer: Father God, give me a better memory for your blessings and a softer heart toward you. Forgive me for the times I’ve forgotten your amazing grace, your ministry gifts, your daily provision, and mighty arm of protection. Forgive my sins as I forgive others. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
