March 8 Introduction Today’s psalm is a prayer for guidance, protection, and forgiveness. It includes a series of petitions along with affirmations of trust in God. The writer attests to the LORD God as our teacher and notes that to learn, one must have reverence for the LORD. Scripture Reading Psalm 25 Today’s Key Verse: Psalm 25:4 Teach me your ways, O LORD; make them known to me. Reflect What does the psalm writer ask of God? What verses indicate the writer’s trust in God? Verse 12 says that “those who have reverence for the LORD will learn from him.” What do you desire to learn from God? The writer makes reference to God’s goodness, kindness, constant love, and mercy. In what ways have you experienced these attributes of God? Pray Lord God, teach me your ways; make them known to me. Guide me along the path I should follow and order my steps this day. Thank you for your goodness, kindness, mercy, steadfast love, and faithfulness. Amen.
