More than a Story The purpose of the birth of Christ was not for some mere, sentimental Christmas story to be told once a year. He came as salvation of all of humanity. His sacrifice was far greater than one may realize. He came to rectify the broken relationship that entered the Earth through sin. Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience, many will be made righteous. This was all motivated by and through His love for the Father and for us. The Father’s heart was so fixed on restoring us to a right relationship with Him, that He sacrificed the life of His only Son. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life . This is good news! Your life has been redeemed!! Your life has been given hope, peace, and joy because of the sacrifice made by our King, our Savior, our Messiah! Final Thought May we join with all creation, in Heaven, on Earth, and under the Earth, to remember the sacrifice of our King! May we join in the angels to proclaim HOLY, HOLY, and HOLY is our Savior! The ancient Scriptures, written by the seers of old, declare that the Word of God was indeed made flesh and dwelt among us. Jesus, the Christ, our Messiah, and King, was the fulfillment of both the Law and the Prophets. The significance of His birth was far from ordinary, His birth evoked fear in the hearts of kings and wonder in the hearts of the Wisemen. It was at His birth that the angelic host proclaimed to the shepherds, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!" His birth is more than a sentimental story that is told once a year. Through His birth we were given another chance, through His birth, salvation was made for all. This year, may we share His peace, and declare goodwill toward all mankind!
