# THIS BOOK OF LAW Have you ever tried to get somewhere when you have absolutely no idea where you are or where you are going? It is very difficult! We need a map, we need something to direct our course. That’s what God is telling Joshua when He says “do not let this book of the Law depart from your mouth”. In fact, God even tells him not to turn left or right, but to follow His Word. The words we listen to are so important. Our lives are filled with thousands of words every day. Conversations, social media, TV, radio, websites, newspapers, billboards, the person beside us on the bus... so many words! It’s crucial we determine whose words we listen to, because if we are not wise we will get off course and not ENTER IN to the life God has for us. Entering into the life God promised you is very closely linked to how much you value, believe, speak and live out God’s Word. God’s Word is always successful, it is always powerful and it will always lead us toward His promises.  What God says is who God is. The more our lives line up with what he says, the more we become like Him. As God instructed Joshua, so too He urges us - meditate on the Bible, get God's Word in your heart, and you will see His promises come to pass! QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER: Whose voice are you listening to? How much time does God’s Word get in your life each day? How can you meditate on God‘s Word more today? PRAY : God, I want to know You more, help me to delve deeper into Your Word and let it wrap around my heart. Quieten the noise of this world so I can hear Your voice clearly.
