The Making of a Prizefighter What has God entrusted you with? Trust is an important element in our relationship with Jesus. We’ve been entrusted with gifts, talents, finances, relationships, material possessions, etc…  And “ to whom much is given, much is required (Luke 12:48).” This means there will be an accounting to determine what you’ve done with what was entrusted to you. If you’re in a position of leadership, you’ve been entrusted with leading your people, business or organization with fairness and integrity. If you are on the worship team and sing or play an instrument, you’ve been entrusted with a gift to lead people into the presence of the Lord and are required to steward the gift He’s given you with “integrity of heart and skillfulness of hands” (Psalm 78:72). If you’ve been given the ability to build businesses, earn a profit and have been blessed with entrepreneurial skills, you’ve been entrusted with a gift that allows you to enjoy the fruits of your labor. But you are also required to extend a helping hand financially or to perhaps teach others so that God’s Kingdom can be expanded into the marketplace. When we are entrusted with something, it means it is something dear to the Lord’s heart. Take a good look around you. Look closely and you will see all that you have been given. Jesus is trusting you to cultivate what He’s given you. The responsibility is on you and me to make the most of it.
