Idźcie — doradzono ludowi — coś smacznego zjedzcie, coś słodkiego wypijcie, zaproście do posiłku tych, którzy nic nie mają, gdyż dzisiejszy dzień jest dniem poświęconym naszemu Panu! Nie smućcie się! Niech PAN obudzi w was radość! Ona jest waszą ostoją. Podobnie uspokajali lud Lewici. Bądźcie spokojni — mówili. — Dzień dzisiejszy jest święty. Nie smućcie się!
