Get Out of Sleep Modeਨਮੂਨਾ

Rise Up and Walk – Day 5
“Then Jesus said to him, ‘Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.’”
(John 5:8, NIV)
That command changed everything. After 38 years stuck in the same place, he stood up and walked.
That’s what Jesus wants to do with you. Maybe you’ve been paralyzed emotionally, spiritually, or even within your family. But Isaiah 40:31 assures us:
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
(Isaiah 40:31, NIV)
Jesus’ call is not only to rise up—but to walk in the new things He has for you. God also promises rest to the weary and burdened. His Word is not only comfort; it’s power that transforms.
In practical terms, it’s like restarting a frozen device: once it turns on again, everything begins to function properly. When Jesus speaks, what was stuck starts moving.
Today, He says to you: “Get up and walk.” Don’t stay in sleep mode—move forward into the purpose God has prepared for you.
Talk with God and open your heart:
Lord, thank You because Your Word has the power to lift me up. Today I receive Your command to rise and walk. Renew my strength, help me break through every stagnation, and guide me to live in the purpose You’ve prepared for me. Amen.
Think about this:
• In what area of your life do you need to hear Jesus say, “Get up and walk”?
• What practical steps can you take today to get out of sleep mode and walk in faith?
End of Plan: Get Out of Sleep Mode
This was the last day of the plan. Don’t forget—Jesus has the power to awaken your faith, renew your strength, and move you into action. Live each day fully awake and confident in His presence!

About this Plan

Many times, we live on autopilot, as if we were in “sleep mode”: without active faith, trapped in routine, waiting for wrong solutions, or doubting God’s power. The story of the paralyzed man at the Pool of Bethesda (John 5) shows us that Jesus comes into our lives to awaken us from spiritual lethargy and give us new strength. This 5-day plan invites you to awaken your faith, trust that God is your way out, and rise up to walk in His purpose.
