Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Twoਨਮੂਨਾ

And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave (Matthew 20:27 NKJV).
How is your spiritual eyesight?
James and John come to the Lord Jesus Christ with their mother with a request. They want to sit on Jesus's right and left hand in the Kingdom (Matthew 20:20-21). They want to be recognized as primary people in the future kingdom, but Jesus said, “whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant” (Matthew 20:26 NKJV). How true! If you want to be great, you need to do what Jesus did and become the servant of all. Mark 10:45 (NKJV) says, “For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”
Employment Point: Remain God–centered, by being the servant of all.
