Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Twoਨਮੂਨਾ

Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth (Ecclesiastes 12:1 NKJV).
Are you living with the awareness that eternity is just around the corner?
Solomon, the wise man, desires us to fear God and use our fleeting moments for Him, since judgment looms (see Ecclesiastes 12:13–14). Paul experiences Solomon’s words (Ecclesiastes 12) and calls himself “the aged” (Philemon 9) and lives closely to death (see 2 Corinthians 11:23–33).
Solomon and Paul both highlight life’s brevity and the importance of living wisely. Are you making the most of your time for God’s purposes? Remember, each day is an opportunity to live fully for Jesus, as if His return is imminent.
Employment Point: Live for Jesus, since you are one heartbeat away from eternity.
About this Plan

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
