God's Plansਨਮੂਨਾ

05. Higher Than the Earth
What: God’s plans are wonderful
Lectio. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:9, NIV – read Isa. 55:6–11).
Meditatio. In the Book of Consolation, Isaiah called those thirsty for God and taught that true seeking must recognize that the Lord’s way of acting is different and infinitely higher than the human way.
Oratio. Confess to the Lord your limitations and admit that your thoughts are small and restricted. Plead for the mind of Christ, that through the Spirit you may understand all things as God sees and does them.
Contemplatio. Contemplate all of humanity. See people as they talk, study, and work—could anyone among billions teach God anything? Could anyone know more than He does?
Confessio. Like Job, I have experienced confusion, frustration, and even revolt before some of God’s plans, until I saw the complete work and realized that the Lord was always right in everything He did.
