God's Plansਨਮੂਨਾ

21. Until the Day of Christ
Why: God’s plans expand our horizon
Lectio. “…being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 1:6, NIV – read Phil. 1:3–11).
Meditatio. Paul shows emotional intelligence in a letter meant to comfort an entire church. From the very beginning, he disregards his own condition of need and expresses gratitude, confession, and intercession for others.
Oratio. Pray to live amid difficulties with the certainty that God will continue accomplishing His plans. Pray to experience even now the continuity of the day of Christ Jesus until it is fully complete.
Contemplatio. Contemplate God’s eternity: before the void, He already was; when the earth was formless, He moved over it; after Christ’s return, He will continue working. He is the Eternal One!
Confessio. My human nature makes me see life in a fragmented way, as a succession of events. But when I look with “the eyes of my heart,” I clearly perceive the divine plan unfolding: everything that happens to me is part of it.
