The Word Is Lifeਨਮੂਨਾ

The Word That Endures
We live in a fast-paced world where almost every desire can be satisfied in seconds. And yet, paradoxically, we realize that almost nothing we gain truly lasts. Emotions, experiences, relationships, achievements… all fade, shift, disappear. We cling to people, things, memories, hoping they’ll fill us or make us happy, but sooner or later, everything slips away.
It’s not wrong to have loved ones, goals, or meaningful moments. The problem arises when we seek stability in what is temporary. Isaiah doesn’t say that grass or flowers are useless; on the contrary, they’re beautiful and part of life. But he invites us to recognize that true security can’t be built on what’s destined to fade.
There’s only one thing that endures: the Word of God. It doesn’t grow old, go out of style, or lose its power. It is stable, unchanging, eternal. In a world full of instability, only the Word can give us a solid foundation to walk with confidence, today and tomorrow.
Prayer: Lord, help me build my life on Your unchanging Word. Amen.
