The Word That Works

There is real power in the Word of God. It’s not just information, not just comfort, it is action, movement, effect. When God speaks, something happens. Always.

This is wonderful news for the believer; if God has declared that the devil is defeated, then so it is. If He said that, through the blood of Jesus, we have been redeemed, then so it is. It’s not about opinions, feelings, or vague hopes. The Word of God does not lie; it never fails, it never returns empty.

His Word is like rain falling on dry ground; it doesn’t just wet the soil, it makes something new grow. It brings life, fruit, growth. Every word from the mouth of God has a specific purpose, to make our lives bloom in every area.

Even when we don’t immediately see the results, we can be sure that God is at work. His Word works deep inside, breaks the hard soil of the heart, plants, waters, and eventually brings forth fruit.

Prayer: Lord, I trust in the power of Your Word. Let it bear fruit in my life. Amen.
