DAY TWENTY-ONE — A Willing Offering
The people responded generously to Moses’ call, and the gifts began to pour in. But God’s plan didn’t stop with materials. He also appointed and empowered specific people—Bezalel and Oholiab—filling them with His Spirit, wisdom, and skill for the work of building the Tabernacle.
This is remarkable: God’s Spirit was not just at work in prophecy or miracles, but in craftsmanship. Designing, weaving, carving, and building were Spirit-inspired acts of worship. The Tabernacle would not only reflect obedience but also beauty, creativity, and excellence—because God Himself delights in beauty.
Today, God continues to fill His people with gifts—some to teach or lead, others to create, design, serve, or build. Whatever your gift, it is not “less spiritual” if it doesn’t happen behind a pulpit. Every Spirit-filled act—whether crafting, teaching, encouraging, or giving—is part of God’s dwelling among His people.
REFLECTION QUESTIONS
- How do you see your skills, talents, or work as a gift from God?
- In what ways could you use your creativity or ability to serve the Lord and bless others?
- What would it look like to invite the Spirit into your everyday work, even in tasks that feel ordinary?

About this Plan

THE PROMISED LAND and Milk and Honey Productions have created this plan to help individuals and groups engage the story of Exodus and Leviticus in a fresh way. In this 30-day devotional, you’ll see clips from THE PROMISED LAND, read passages of Scripture, and reflect on questions that connect Israel’s journey to your own walk of faith. Through humor, reverence, and honesty, we’ll discover that God uses ordinary, imperfect people to accomplish His extraordinary purposes.
