DAY 25 OF 30

DAY TWENTY-FIVE — The Glory of the Lord Fills the Tabernacle

When the work was complete, something extraordinary happened: the cloud covered the tent, and the glory of the Lord filled it. God’s presence was so overwhelming that even Moses could not enter. The God who delivered His people from Egypt now dwelt among them in power and glory.

This was the ultimate fulfillment of all they had been working toward—not just freedom from slavery, not just laws and instructions, but God Himself living among them. The Tabernacle was the visible sign that their God was not distant but near.

Through Jesus, we experience this same glory—not in a tent, but in our lives. At Pentecost, the Spirit of God filled His people, just as the cloud once filled the Tabernacle. Today, His presence fills us, guiding us, empowering us, and making us His dwelling place.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS

  • How does God’s glory filling the Tabernacle point forward to Jesus and the Holy Spirit?
  • What does it mean for God’s glory to “fill” your life today?
  • How can you create space for God’s presence in your daily rhythms?

About this Plan

The Promised Land

THE PROMISED LAND and Milk and Honey Productions have created this plan to help individuals and groups engage the story of Exodus and Leviticus in a fresh way. In this 30-day devotional, you’ll see clips from THE PROMISED LAND, read passages of Scripture, and reflect on questions that connect Israel’s journey to your own walk of faith. Through humor, reverence, and honesty, we’ll discover that God uses ordinary, imperfect people to accomplish His extraordinary purposes.
