“30 Pictures of Jesus” 30 Day Planਨਮੂਨਾ

Today we see Jesus as the Son of Man.
From the beginning, it was God’s plan for human beings—the sons and daughters of Adam—to rule His world. Adam was made in God’s image and given dominion over creation. As he multiplied and filled the earth, his children—the “sons of man”—were meant to spread God’s just and life-giving rule over the world. Humanity’s destiny was to share God’s throne and extend His kingdom.
But instead of ruling creation under God, humanity handed its authority over to rival powers. In Genesis 10, we see the nations form under the influence of rebellious spiritual beings—the “sons of God” who turned away from Him (Genesis 6:4). The result was beastly empires that devoured the earth instead of cultivating it. Violence, corruption, and oppression spread across the world. Israel herself, chosen to be God’s royal people, was eventually conquered and enslaved by Babylon—the fiercest beast of them all.
It’s in exile to Babylon that Daniel saw a vision of hope. He watched as the beastly kingdoms rose and fell, but then he saw one “like a Son of Man” come before the throne of the Ancient of Days (Daniel 7:13). Unlike the beasts, this ruler was human. To him was given dominion, glory, and an everlasting kingdom that would never pass away. God’s plan had not changed—the world would still be ruled by a Son of Man. But this Son of Man would also bear divine authority as a Son of God.
When Jesus called Himself “the Son of Man,” He was claiming to be that promised ruler. In His trial before the high priest, He declared: “From now on you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven” (Matthew 26:64). In other words, He was the human king Daniel had seen—one who rules the beasts not by becoming beastly Himself, but by enduring their worst violence.
The beastly power of Rome, backed by the false gods of the nations, unleashed its ultimate weapon—death—on Jesus. But in allowing Himself to be struck down, Jesus proved Himself stronger than every power. By rising from the dead, He crushed their rule forever. Now the Son of Man sits on the throne of God, making every enemy His footstool.
This is good news. God’s plan from Eden has not failed. Humanity has a representative on the throne of heaven—a true Son of Man, who is also the eternal Son of God. And now, He shares His reign with His people. Paul says we will even judge angels and rule alongside Jesus (1 Corinthians 6:2–3). Our destiny in Christ is to be restored to our original calling: to reign with Him, subdue the cosmos, and bring all things under His good and life-giving rule.
The beasts will not win. The Son of Man reigns, and His kingdom will never end.
