Psalm 2 - Reimagining Powerਨਮੂਨਾ

Day 4: A Word to the Wise
"Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth." (Psalm 2:10, NIV)
God's not writing off earthly leaders. He's giving them a heads up: "Hey, you're not the final authority here. Act like it."
This applies to anyone with influence: parents, managers, teachers, pastors. We're all sub-contractors in God's kingdom. The authority we have is on loan, and we're accountable for how we use it.
The beautiful thing is that God's warning is actually an invitation. He's saying, "You can do this the easy way or the hard way. You can align your leadership with my purposes, or you can fight against them and lose."
TODAY: In whatever leadership role you have, ask yourself: "Am I using my influence to serve God's purposes or my own agenda?"
GO DEEPER: Pray for the leaders in your life; political, workplace, family. Ask God to give them wisdom to steward their authority well.
PRAYER: God, help me to steward well whatever influence you've given me. Make me a leader who serves your purposes, not my own ego. Grant wisdom to those who lead me, and help me to respect authority while following you. Amen.
