Principles for Life in the Kingdom of Godਨਮੂਨਾ

FAITH DOES NOT MISS AN OPPORTUNITY
MAIN IDEAS
• A blind beggar who had heard of JESUS believed that He would heal him.
• Understanding that JESUS was nearby, he started shouting so loudly that he was annoying everyone around him, but he didn’t want to lose this opportunity; it was an opportunity of a lifetime!
• JESUS is available. He cannot thoughtlessly pass by someone who wants Him with all his heart, and who believes that He can solve his problem.
• JESUS listens to his petition, and the blind man then rejoices that he has seized the greatest moment of his life.
This blind beggar certainly had heard of the miracles that JESUS was performing everywhere He traveled. He did not want to miss this fabulous opportunity when JESUS would pass by. In his faith, he was unashamed and did not even care that he was disturbing everybody with his loud voice. On that day, his problem encountered its one solution, one he had sought at any cost, and he used his faith to grasp the opportunity.
Jesus will not pass by someone who has great faith, is unafraid, unashamed of his faith in public, someone who calls on JESUS and puts his trust in Him. The situation is the same with regard to the light in one’s spiritual eyes. When one realizes that his spiritual state is evil, that tomorrow is uncertain, and he searches his soul, he must take advantage of this soul-searching and come to Jesus with humility, with the faith that He can save him and lift him up. If you take advantage of this opportunity to soul-search right now, don’t waste it by postponing your fear or shame or shyness, but ask now for that help which He will rush to you without delay.
