Principles for Life in the Kingdom of Godਨਮੂਨਾ

FAITH BRINGS HEALING
MAIN IDEAS
• When they are struck by some misfortune, even the proudest or highest ranking of persons are willing to humble themselves and turn to faith in God to find their solution.
• On the way to Jairus’ house, a woman who had been suffering from a health problem for many years, touched JESUS’ garment. Her faith helped her get healed simply by the touching of JESUS’ cloak.
• At that moment, news arrives that Jairus’ daughter had died and that it’s too late, so there is no point in JESUS coming to his house. JESUS was in direct contact with the Heavenly Father, therefore knew that an even greater miracle was about to take place, so He told the girl’s father, „Just believe!”
• Here we have proof that healings and miracles are done by faith, sometimes by the faith of the one in question, as was the case with the woman healed of hemorrhages; and sometimes, they are done by the faith of the person who prays, in this case JESUS, because He alone believed that anything could be done, after the girl had died.
In the case of Jairus’ daughter being brought back to life, JESUS commanded them not to tell anyone about the miracle, which emphasizes the primary mission of JESUS on earth, which was not to heal and resurrect the body, but to save the soul, which is eternal. Still, to prove that he is the Son of God and due to His compassion for people, JESUS performed many miracles. This principle stays valid to this day. These days, healings are few compared to the number of souls that are saved. This tells us very clearly that the fundamental mission of JESUS continues to be the salvation of people’s souls from sin, but those who do have faith can also be able to benefit from healing of the body.
What’s the point of a very healthy person ending up in Hell? Wouldn’t it be better to be in a wheelchair and end up in God’s heaven? Our life on earth ends in 70-80 years, sometimes even earlier, but life after death never ends, whether it be in Heaven or Hell.
