The Thief of Everythingਨਮੂਨਾ

The Thief of Everything

DAY 10 OF 15

Think for a second about who or what you represent in life. Perhaps you’d say you represent your parents, your family name, or your children. Or maybe you’d say you represent the place you work, the church you attend, the school your kids are involved in, or the town you’re from. The truth is that we can all say we represent various things, people, and even places. But the most critical thing we represent is the God who made us. That certainly lends more weight to... well, just about everything we do and say! Every aspect of our lives is a reflection of the God we follow with our lives. So when we’re caught up in comparison, we miss the opportunity to point others to God with our lives.

How do we fix that? By choosing to celebrate! Not just ourselves and our relationship with God, but also the people in our lives and the way they reflect God, too. After all, we’re all representing the same God. When we see each other that way, there’s no reason to compare. That, my friends, is only cause for celebration. Today, ask God to help you live in a way that represents how grateful you are for all God has given you. Then, take it a step further and ask God for help seeing others through that same lens.

About this Plan

The Thief of Everything

It’s easy to get caught up in comparison. We compare our thoughts, words, actions, relationships, and even our faith. Chances are, if we’re honest, we’d admit that comparison makes us feel a lot worse. It has the potential to steal our joy, self-image, peace, success, and faith. That’s because comparison is a thief. As we’ll see in this series, we’ll look at the secret to breaking the cycle of comparison.
