Hebrews Part 2: Selfish Christianityਨਮੂਨਾ

Church Isn’t Enough
It’s easy to assume that attending church, saying the right things, or believing in God guarantees a place in Heaven. But Hebrews 4 delivers a sobering warning—many who claim faith will fall short because their hearts were never truly transformed.
Just as an entire generation of Israelites perished in the wilderness despite witnessing God’s power, many today go through the motions of Christianity without true obedience and surrender.
Hebrews warns against taking God’s grace for granted. We must pursue holiness and obedience if we hope to enter His presence forever. Just as some Israelites professed belief yet never entered the Promised Land, many today sit in church pews but are not truly saved.
This stark reality should compel us to examine our hearts—do we genuinely fear God, or are we just going through the motions?
God’s grace is free, but it’s not cheap. A true believer doesn’t just acknowledge Jesus with words but follows Him with their life.
Hebrews challenges us to look inward: Are we striving for holiness or settling for a comfortable, religious routine? The stakes are eternal, and self-deception is deadly.
If you’ve gone to church for a while, are you just going through the motions? What can you do to change that?
