A Child's Guide To: God's Way Is Bestਨਮੂਨਾ

Why? Because!
I created the mountains and the wind. I let humans know what I am thinking. I bring darkness at dawn and step over hills. I am the Lord God All-Powerful!
Amos 4:13 (CEV)
“But why?”
Sometimes we all ask that question. We want to know why we must do things we don’t want to do. A lot of times, parents will answer, “Because I said so!”
In Bible times, the Israelites were not doing what God said to do. They were not being kind to poor people, and they weren’t worshipping God! So, God sent a man named Amos to tell them to do the right things. God told Amos exactly what to say, which included telling them they were going to be punished for doing wrong. God knew the people would get mad at the message.
Today’s verse tells us we should obey God: because he is the all-powerful God! He created everything, and he knows what’s best for his creation.
If you are tempted to not listen to God’s Word, remember Amos’s message. Also remember that God who knows what’s best has given you parents to help you follow his ways. He will teach your parents what is right, too. We all need to trust and obey.
HERO TRAINING
Babies don’t yet know what is right. You know more because you are older and have learned lots of things. In the same way, your parents know what’s best for you because they have learned even more things. And God knows what’s best for everybody because he knows everything! Say a prayer and ask God who knows everything for help listening to him today!
GOD'S WONDERFUL WORLD
Pikas, which are relatives of rabbits, live in the mountains. When there is danger, they will squeak an alarm to warn their family. (But their family must obey the warning to steer clear of danger!)
