A Child's Guide To: God's Way Is Bestਨਮੂਨਾ

The Most Important Lesson
Solomon, my son, worship God and obey him with all your heart and mind, just as I have done. He knows all your thoughts and your reasons for doing things, and so if you turn to him, he will hear your prayers. But if you ignore him, he will reject you forever
1 Chronicles 28:9 (CEV)
What do your parents tell you to do? Be good in school? Eat your vegetables? Be kind to your brothers and sisters?
Today's Bible reading tells the story of King David, who knew he was about to die. He needed to tell his son, Solomon, what to do after he was gone. There were probably a lot of things Solomon needed to learn so he could be a good king like his father. But the most important thing David taught his son was to worship and obey God.
Worshiping God meant Solomon would remember and respond to how wonderful God is. David taught Solomon to worship God with his whole heart, which meant fully obeying God’s commands. One of the big things Solomon was asked to do for God was to build a temple, which was like a beautiful church where people could meet to praise God.
David knew that of all the things he needed to teach Solomon, loving and obeying God was the most important. It’s the most important for us, too!
HERO TRAINING
You can show your love and devotion to God in many ways. One way is to dance for him! Isn’t that fun? Put on some worship music and have a dance party for Jesus!
GOD'S WONDERFUL WORLD
Dogs can learn to be very obedient! Expert trainers say the easiest command to teach a dog is to sit.
