A Child's Guide To: God's Way Is Bestਨਮੂਨਾ

The First Bad Thing
The Lord God called out to the man and asked, “Where are you?”
Genesis 3:9 (CEV)
When God created the first humans, Adam and Eve, he let them live in a beautiful garden called Eden. God said everything in the garden was very good! The fruit trees, plants, birds, and sea creatures were all wonderful! Animals didn’t fight, and Adam and Eve loved God and each other.
God gave only one rule: don’t eat fruit from one tree that was in the middle of the garden.
Sadly, one day Eve decided to eat that fruit. When she gave it to Adam, he did, too. It was the first bad thing people did on Earth. They disobeyed God. Right away, they knew they had done wrong, so they hid.
What do you think God did? Let them keep hiding? No, God called to Adam, asking where he was. God knew where they were and what they had done, but he wanted Adam to understand what he did wrong. God still loved them, and he was very sad they didn’t listen to him.
When we do bad things, God wants us to own up to it and come to him. He wants to talk with us and help us get on the right path again. And because God loves us, he sent Jesus to die for us so we can be forgiven and be friends with God.
HERO TRAINING
Play a game of “Red Light, Green Light” with your family. When the leader calls out “Green Light,” run as fast as you can to the other side. When they call out “Red Light,” you must stop and completely freeze your body, otherwise you’re out and lose the game. The “Red Light” rules that God gives us help us to be safe!
GOD'S WONDERFUL WORLD
God created everything with a purpose. Rose bushes have sharp thorns that protect them and keep them safe from bugs and animals that would eat them.
