ALL OF GOD’S PROMISES COME TO PASS

“Not one of all the Lord’s good promises to Israel failed; every one was fulfilled.” Joshua 21:45 (NIV)

We often sing the song Way Maker in church, declaring that God is the “Way maker / miracle worker / promise keeper / light in the darkness.” Sinach. "Way Maker." (2015). These words powerfully remind us of God’s character—especially that He is a promise keeper.

Joshua’s words in Joshua 21:45 serve as a strong reminder of God’s faithfulness to His promises. After years of wandering, battles, and waiting, Israel finally saw the fulfillment of every promise God made to them. Not one promise was left unfulfilled.

This truth about God’s faithfulness remains just as true for us today. He is still the promise-keeping God. The same faithfulness that led Israel into the Promised Land is at work in our lives, whether we see it now or must wait for its fulfillment. As the song continues:

“Even when I don’t see it, You’re working.

Even when I don’t feel it, You’re working.

You never stop, You never stop working.”

Waiting for God’s promises is not always easy. Like Israel, we may face seasons of waiting, conflict, or uncertainty before we see His promises come to pass. Yet, it is in these moments that we are called to stand firm in faith, trusting that God is always at work, even when we can’t see it.

Play Way Maker by Leeland and focus on the God who is the way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper, and light in the darkness. Reflect on His promises, trusting that He is always at work, even when you can’t see it. Pray, surrender your worries, and rest in His unshakeable faithfulness.

Seek the Lord and remember His faithfulness in your life. Pray for the strength to trust Him fully, even in times of uncertainty.
