Pouring Out Your Oilਨਮੂਨਾ

The Level of Pouring Is Up to You
Scripture:
2 Kings 4:6 – "When all the jars were full, she said to her son, ‘Bring me another one.’ But he replied, ‘There is not a jar left.’ Then the oil stopped flowing."
Description:
God will always respect our willingness and capacity to work with Him. He will keep pouring as long as we make space to receive it. He wants to give us abundantly more than we can ever hope for, dream, or imagine!
The oil flowed as long as there were empty jars. The widow’s son determined the limit when he said, “There are no more.”
We often place limits on what God can do through our words and expectations. What if we made more room for Him?
Application:
Examine your words today. Are you speaking limits over your life? Replace limiting thoughts and declarations with words of faith. Ask the Holy Spirit to expand your expectation to receive more from Him. Ask Him for a picture or a specific promise in the Word. Write down what He tells you.
Prayer:
God, forgive me for the times I have spoken limits over what You can do in my life. Activate my faith to believe for more, and show me ways to make more room for Your power to flow through me. I believe that You are able to do infinitely more than I can imagine, and I am excited to see what You are doing in me and through me. In Jesus' name, Amen.

About this Plan

God has placed something powerful inside of you—your words carry oil! Like the widow in 2 Kings 4:1-7, you may feel like you have nothing to offer, but God has already given you a message to share. This devotional will encourage Kingdom-driven writers to recognise their anointing, seek Holy Spirit direction, overcome limitations, and boldly step into writing, publishing, and promoting their books. It’s time to pour! The world needs the words God has placed inside of you.
