EquipHer Vol. 15: "Beyond the Title and Position"ਨਮੂਨਾ

Day 3 – Where is Your Confidence Rooted?
What makes you a confident woman? Is it the title you hold, the position you occupy, the recognition you receive, or the approval of others? If your confidence depends on these things, what happens when they fade away? Our confidence cannot be based on temporary roles or human validation—it must be rooted in an unshakable, eternal truth: we are daughters of God, loved and chosen by Him. When we truly grasp this, we begin to live with a confidence that does not waver in the face of change.
Moses did not feel qualified for his calling, nor was he confident that he could accomplish what God had asked of him. And yet, God chose him to lead the people of Israel. This shows that to be instruments in God’s hands, we don’t need to be perfectly qualified—we simply need to be available. God does not seek people with the "right" titles; He looks for hearts that are willing and ready to respond to His call with faith and obedience. When Moses tried to justify his insecurity, God responded, “I will be with you.” (Exodus 3:12)
When we understand that our worth is not tied to a role or qualification but to our identity as daughters of God, we begin to walk in confidence and peace. We must live with the assurance that God has given us an identity and authority in Christ that no title can diminish or limit. As we start leading and living with this awareness, we will discover that our influence extends far beyond any formal role.
Practical Steps:
- Think of a situation where you sought confidence in a title or recognition. How can you shift your perspective and root your confidence in God instead?
- How can you take a concrete step this week to practice leadership based on identity rather than title?
Prayer: Father, teach me to find my confidence in You alone. Free me from the need for external validation, and root my heart in the certainty that I am loved, chosen, and called by You. Help me to walk with boldness and humility, reflecting Your light in every environment I step into. Let my identity in Christ be the foundation upon which I build every step of my life. Amen.
