Water Baptismਨਮੂਨਾ

Who Should Be Baptized?
"And Peter said to them, ‘Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.’" Acts 2:38 (ESV).
"So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls." Acts 2:41 (ESV).
Water baptism is for those who have repented of their sins and placed their faith in Jesus Christ. It is an outward sign of the inner transformation that follows being born again. The early church practiced believer’s baptism, as seen in Acts 2:41, where those who received Jesus as Lord and Savior were water baptized.
Have you repented and accepted Christ? If so, water baptism is your next step. If you have already been baptized, encourage others who are ready to take this important next step in following Jesus.
Prayer: Father God, Thank You for calling me to repentance and salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Help me to obey Your word. Please give me the boldness to be water baptized making a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ. I ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.
