What’s your favorite part of God’s creation? Maybe it’s something like huge mountains or bright stars, or a newborn baby or a massive forest. No matter what parts of creation inspire awe, you get to see it every day. Wherever you live, God’s creation is all around you. All we have to do is slow down long enough to pay attention and to see it. Theologian Thomas Merton once said, “The biggest human temptation is to settle for too little.” This week, make a point to look around and notice some of your favorite parts of God’s creation. Don’t settle for too little!
