The Table, a Series on Communityਨਮੂਨਾ

There was an old preacher from the Civil War era named E.M. Bounds who said it this way:
“We are constantly on a stretch, if not on a strain, to devise new methods, new plans, new organizations to advance the Church and secure enlargement and efficiency for the gospel. This trend of the day has a tendency to lose sight of the man or sink the man in the plan or organization. God's plan is to make much of the man, far more of him than of anything else. Men are God's method. The Church is looking for better methods; God is looking for better men.”
We are God’s method. He wants to use us to work in other peoples’ lives: in the lives of your friends and your family. In your schools, in your neighborhoods, and at your jobs. You are God’s method.

About this Plan

Thanksgiving is a season of unity, community, and fellowship. We center around the table — the place where we gather to enjoy each other. We come to God’s table as a community of believers, bringing our authentic selves to receive all God has for us. This series explores what we can bring to the table and what God has in store for us when we do!
