The Table, a Series on Communityਨਮੂਨਾ

The Greek word for "church" in verse 22 is ecclesia. And back in the day, it meant a gathering of people called out for a purpose - so literally, "church" means "called out ones." Called out for what? Simple. Called out to completely change the world. Called out to share the good news about eternal life by trusting in Jesus for salvation. Called out to feed the poor, help the sick, relieve the oppressed, and visit the prisoners.
The bottom line is the church is a group of sinners saved by grace gathering together so we can go out and be Jesus Christ in the world around us.

About this Plan

Thanksgiving is a season of unity, community, and fellowship. We center around the table — the place where we gather to enjoy each other. We come to God’s table as a community of believers, bringing our authentic selves to receive all God has for us. This series explores what we can bring to the table and what God has in store for us when we do!
