Jesus came for us when we were the outsider. We were lost, and he came to find us. Not even just that—he rescued us when we were in rebellion against God, wanting nothing to do with Him. He made the first move and died on the cross for our sins. He did this before we deserved it and before we were in His inner circle. Jesus died for us before we stopped sinning.

That is the gospel—the good news of Jesus! And we get the chance to share this with our friends and family, on our teams and in our clubs, and with the world. He made us His people.
