Elevate: Raising the Bar for Conversations About Consentਨਮੂਨਾ

All of us want to be shown respect. We do, and everyone we interact with wants to be as well. And because all of us have God’s image in us, everyone is worthy of respect—you and everyone you encounter. Every time we treat someone like they bear God’s image, we are acknowledging their value and worth and reflecting Christ. If we're not being kind but we're calling ourselves a Christian we're making Jesus look like someone He's not.

Memorizing this verse can help remind you of that truth when it's probably the hardest to do. Because we don't forget to do this with people who we like and care about. We have a harder time practicing this truth with people we don't want to respect or be kind to. So today, make it a priority to start memorizing this verse so it can become a regular practice in your life.
