Elevate: Raising the Bar for Conversations About Consentਨਮੂਨਾ

You’ve probably heard that God loves you, but maybe you’ve struggled to believe it was true.
Paul, in his letter to the Romans, reminds us we can be convinced of God’s love because of the gospel. “Gospel” literally means “the good news,” and the good news for all of us is that Jesus came to demonstrate the extent of God’s love. God went as far as dying on a cross to demonstrate just how big this love is and how nothing could stand in God’s way of making sure we knew this love. This week, remember that God has offered His unconditional love to you. When you feel alone, unloved, or simply unsure of how God feels about you, remind yourself of the good news of the relationship God offers you through faith in the love God demonstrated.

About this Plan

There are a lot of topics spinning around culture today: especially when it comes to relationships and consent. We’ll dive into the conversation about how we treat one another. Instead of focusing on the bare minimum of consent, we’ll aim for something more. We’ll embrace the elevated standard—God’s standard—of honor and respect. It’s time to raise the bar for conversations about how we treat one another.
