I Have Questions: Body Imageਨਮੂਨਾ

The term “body image” can mean:
- How you see,
- What you believe,
- How you feel,
…about yourself.
All of us, in some way, struggle with body image.
And to cope, we usually:
- Obsess over our bodies and appearance.
- Quit caring about it and stop trying altogether.
But there’s another option. Jesus said this to His friends while on Earth:
“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart….”
Peace exists no matter how we feel about ourselves, and Jesus offers it by giving us His Spirit.
Imagine having peace about how you see, believe, and feel about yourself. Take a minute and ask Jesus for His peace.

About this Plan

Have you ever noticed how much attention the human body gets? We’re asking: “Why can’t I stop thinking about my body?” Since God created our bodies, this question has the potential to impact the way we see ourselves and the way we see God. This week we’ll discuss the topic of body image together, and we’ll find a perspective that shows us just how key kindness can be.
