TheLionWithin.Us: How to Pursue Your Career

Dag 8 av 8

## Thank You We hope you enjoyed this devotional. For more resources to help you become the leader God intends you to be, visit [ https://thelionwithin.us ](https://thelionwithin.us/) . \------- # Pursuing Your Passions ## If you want to hear God laugh, tell Him your plans. Seriously, we cannot comprehend what God has in plan for our careers. Ephesians 3:20 reminds us that His ways are so far out of our understanding it isn’t funny. Too many men put God in a box. That means we put guardrails or restrictions on what we think God can do for our careers. You may be thinking about the next rung on the ladder and God may have plans for you to be at the top of a different ladder completely. Lions know that His ways are better than ours. To pursue our passions, we need to fully embrace the greatness of God and be ready to act when He begins to move in our careers. Life is too short to be walking through your days at work feeling miserable just to collect a check. Get your passions in alignment with God’s plan and then stand back and watch His amazing power move in your life. Throw away the boxes you used to keep Him in and hold on for the amazing journey that awaits! ### Question to Consider 1. What ways have you put God in a box and not let Him move in your career? 2. How is staying in your comfort zone keeping God from being able to move mountains in your life? 3. What actions will you commit to today to be the leader God intends you to be?
