Work “How could we provide breakfast for all 180 high school staff members?” Becky and her friends believe that showing intentional acts of kindness opens the door to engage with their school district. Working together, this group of ladies have written notes of encouragement to dozens of teachers, baked cookies for 80 educators, weeded and laid mulch at one of their middle schools, and many other life-giving projects. God honored the faith of these women and provided the funds to help cover the cost of preparing breakfast for 180 individuals. These diligent ladies have discovered a “Strategic Equation” Weekly Prayer Walks + Work Done for Schools = ●Trust developed ●Relationships formed ●God’s love experienced ●Barriers removed ●Doors opened How will God’s kingdom be advanced this year through prayer and working together to serve this district with the love of Jesus? I can’t wait to hear how God responds! As we continue to pray powerful prayers to impact our schools together, we focus on God’s work which draws people to Himself. You are glorified through Your works. We declare and proclaim Your unimaginable power and creativity through Your work of creation. Pray for Hearts Committed to their Work We read in Proverbs,“All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.” God, this week, may students and staff appreciate afresh the privilege of learning, producing and focusing on work both at school and at home. May our school community be filled with individuals who do not merely talk, but who work diligently. Pray for Hearts to Follow God’s Example of Work and Rest Genesis 2:3 says,“Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it He rested from all the work of creating that He had done.” May students and staff look to You for the balance between work and rest.We declare Your provision of safe places for individuals and families, specifically to rest in healthy ways.
