## Find Your People Life can be hard. Deadlines. The calendar. Unexpected emergencies. When life sideswipes you, what do you do? Retreat or react? Do you always have a few people in your corner who know everything about you? Jesus has created us to have relationships that matter. Relationships that are authentic and transparent. David had Jonathan. We see the story unfold in 1 Samuel. David kills Goliath and joins King Saul’s team. Jonathan and David become best friends. They even make a covenant together, promising their friendship. Saul turns his back on David, but Jonathan never turns his back on David. He is there along the way. He helps David. Solomon talks about friendship using the illustration of rope. One strand can be broken, but three strands is very difficult to be broken.
