## Be Doers of the Word Everybody has potential. Everybody has a calling God wants them to grow into. But nobody can make you grow into your potential; that’s between you and God. Other people may help you in different areas, but they can’t control your response to the gospel. If you are truly saved, and Jesus lives in your heart, and you understand and acknowledge that, then your relationship with sin will change. The Bible says that hearing the Word and failing to act only deceives us into believing that we are believers. If we truly believe the Word of God, we will act on it. Doers get abundant life. Luke 5 tells the story of how Jesus called the first disciples and they left everything to follow him. There will always be people saying, “Here am I! Send me!” with their unclean lips.
