Healing on the Inside and OutPrøve

When Healing Doesn’t Happen There may have been times when healing has not come for what felt like the longest time. Maybe you know of someone who you prayed for a long time and yet they didn’t make it. It’s hard to make sense of some of the things people go through and what God’s will is in all of it. One thing of which we can be sure is that even if you or I don’t receive our healing on this side of eternity, we are assured of a place beyond the veil where there will be no more pain, no more tears, and no more suffering. That’s a comfort to me because our lives on earth are but a speck in the vast expanse of eternity. Since, as followers of Jesus, our eternity is secure we can confidently face tomorrow knowing that to live is Christ and to die is gain (Philippians 1:21). For the time being, when we walk through hard seasons of pain and affliction, be assured that God will give us the grace to endure and emerge with a faith and a hope that is stronger and more vibrant than before. Keep believing in the God who called you by name, keep declaring the word of God, keep praying at all times with all kinds of prayers and keep giving room for the Holy Spirit to do his good work in you.
