Based on calculations, 25 geese flying together in this formation can travel 70% farther than if these birds fly alone. The reason is that the goose flying in front will "pave the way" for the other geese behind it. Each goose following the leader takes advantage of the goose in front of it that transmits air pressure upward with its sensitivity. This method reduces the overall lift required. The geese will also take turns to lead the way. Doing this will save their energy and enable them to travel very long distances. If one goose is sick, the other group members will not leave the goose alone. Another goose will accompany the sick goose until it recovers and can continue its long journey. The same principle also applies in the Christian family. Christian families are also called to live as a team and "fly in groups."
