Jesus Is StrongerPrøve

### If you belong to Jesus, you are strong “In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us” (Romans 8:37) It is encouraging to read that Jesus is stronger than Satan and stronger than anything in the world. But how does this help us in our daily struggle against sin, battle against injustice, or fight against spiritual powers? We can only profit from Jesus’ power if we are in Him and He is in us. We have no power on our own, but we are like branches getting our strength and nourishment from the tree. As the apostle John assures his readers when speaking about false prophets and the spirit of the Antichrist: “Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4). Romans 8 describes the same theme. Believers are suffering from tribulation, persecution, and their own sinful desires, but in all these troubles, they have complete victory “through Him who loved us” — Jesus. He is interceding for His people, and nothing can separate them from His love. Call Him when trouble comes. He will help you (Psalm 50:15). Thank you for completing this reading plan.
