# The Power Of God's Light > 2 Corinthians 4:7 \- But this precious treasure -- this light and power that now shine within us -- is held in perishable containers, that is, in our weak bodies. So everyone can see that our glorious power is from God and is not our own. Within us is a glorious power from God, shining through all the brokenness and frailty of our lives. He is glorious, He is powerful, He is the precious treasure, He is the LIGHT. All within our being. > Romans 13:12 \- The night is almost gone; the day of salvation will soon be here. So don’t live in darkness. Get rid of your evil deeds. Shed them like dirty clothes. Clothe yourselves with the armor of right living, as those who live in the light . His power is made available to you TODAY, so that you, even in all your weakness can accomplish all things necessary. That is true assurance.
