### Love Love is more than an emotion. Love is more than chemistry. > 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (ESV) “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude.  It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.” God is love. And God first loved us. > John 3:16 ESV “For God so loved the world, that He gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him, should not perish but have eternal life.” Love may be difficult to comprehend. God’s love may be difficult to understand or fully grasp. In fact, Paul prays that believers “may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” (Ephesians. 3:18-19 ESV) In love, God gave us the best gift of all - eternal life. Pray that we would have the strength to comprehend the dimensions of God’s love for us. How rooted and grounded in love are you (Eph. 3:17)?
