Counted Worthy of This Calling Is all the hassle and hardship worth it? Is it worth it to endure the persecution, the rejection and all of the endless waiting? God’s promises are worth giving your life for. Do not slip into doubting the worth of your personal sacrifices and obedience, lest you falter. You will be counted worthy of your calling if you allow His grace to strengthen and guide you. He will keep you from losing your way. Lean on Him, and embrace whatever He sends you. Keep oil in your lamp, the oil of humble, tender, responsiveness to God (see Matthew 25:1–13). Then you can step forward confidently, even into a storm of controversy. We are on the brink of historic economic, social, moral and societal changes that have staggering implications for the world as we know it. We find ourselves with an almost desperate need for spiritual men and women of depth, seasoning, battle-tested perspective and experience, people who can point the Church to the things that really matter in a world of shallow options and misplaced cultural optimism. The world urgently needs a Church with wisdom and revelation that can express the authentic heart and mind of Christ. The greatest days for the Body of Christ are yet ahead of us. The greatest revival in human history is coming, and billions of souls will be swept powerfully into the Kingdom of God by the unprecedented display of the power of the Holy Spirit. This global revival is going to cause an explosion of global shaking in the nations and tribulation for the Church unlike anything any of us have ever seen, the scope of which is almost impossible to believe, yet this is what the Bible lays out. Scripture is clear in declaring that the rage of the nations and the judgments of the Lord are ahead for us all. Extreme times call for extreme measures.
