Cry Out

Dag 5 av 7

POWER POINT #5 The power of God's love transforms. His promise to the wicked is that he will bless them when they cry out to him. When we're not intentional about living God's way, our efforts and possessions amount to a short-lived purpose and faded glory. From afar it's appealing, but the slippery slope leads to destruction. Our emotions ride the rollercoaster of circumstances and our moods sway with the wind. Evil corrupts our minds, and we seek to satisfy our spiritual hunger with the worthless ways of the world. Those who are wicked deserve the wrath of God; yet, those who cry out to Him in their trouble will be delivered from their distress! By God's great love, he is merciful. Instead of justifying our disobedience, God extends grace so that we may experience the fullness of life. He exchanges our punishment for his pleasure. It is his unmatched kindness that transforms us into his likeness. When we turn our hearts to God and reflect his character, we experience beauty, blessing, and an increase in ways we never imagined possible! PRAYER Dear Lord, please forgive me for my wicked ways. I have pursued the false gods of this world—including money, popularity, and comfort—instead of you. God, I cry out to you and I ask you for mercy. Thank you for your kindness and unfailing love toward me. Please transform my heart. I want all that I say and do to reflect your goodness. Help me change the way I think and the way I act. Do something new in my life! Help me experience your blessings like never before, and help me to manage them well. Amen.
