## June 1—Making Disciples ### Read Matthew 28:16-18 ### Reflect After the resurrection, Jesus directed his disciples to meet him in Galilee. They did. They saw him; they worshiped him, but some doubted. That is certainly understandable—a very human reaction in the midst of all that was happening. Jesus reassured them and reminded them that all authority in heaven and earth had been given to him. What does it mean to you, as you consider responding to Jesus to make disciples, that Jesus has all authority? What could that look like in your life as you endeavor to share the message of Jesus with others? ### Engage Read today’s Scripture passage. Say or write it out in your own words, considering the following questions: · What does it say about God? · What does it say about us? · Is there a promise to trust? · Is there a command to obey? · How will I apply this Scripture to my life? · Who will I show that I care by sharing this truth? ### Memorize Now read this week’s memory verse, 2 Timothy 2:2. Spend a few minutes beginning to memorize it.
