The Magnificence Of Christ In The PsalmsPrøve

My Hope Dear Father, This passage points me to Paul’s opening declaration in 1 Timothy 1:1, “Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus, by the command of God our Savior and of Christ Jesus our Hope.” Yes, Jesus Himself is THE enduring Hope of the world. I praise Him that ALL hope for His followers is in Him! I pray that I and all other believers in our region and beyond will be convinced of this incomparable truth, that Paul also states in Colossians 1:27, “To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Please urge us moment by moment to be messengers of all that our glorious Hope is to one another, and to every lost person You bring into our lives. Help us to “hold unswervingly to the hope we profess” (Hebrews 10:23). May our “mouths be filled with praise of him, declaring his splendor all day long.” I pray these things in Jesus’ hope-filled name.
